Manchester United forward Danny Welbeck has joined Arsenal for an undisclosed fee on a long-term deal. (Believed to be around £15-£16million)
The deal was completed about two hours after the official transfer window deadline which closed 11pm on Monday night.
Manchester United website confirmed and wish the player well in his adventure at the Emirates - ''Everybody at Manchester United would like to thank Danny for his service and wish him well for the future.''
The 23-year-old England international made a total of 90 appearances, scoring 20 goals for Manchester United. Since making his senior debut in 2008, Welbeck has also won 25 England caps.
Meanwhile United also confirmed the signing-on of Colombia and Monaco striker Radamel Falcao on a season long deal with an option to buy at the end of the spell.
United will pay a loan fee of £6million, with an option to buy him next summer for a further £46million.

Speaking about his new £280,000-a-week man, manager Van Gaal said: ''I am delighted Radamel has joined us on loan this season. He is one of the most prolific goalscorers in the game. His appearance-to-goal ratio speaks for itself and, when a player of this calibre becomes available, it is an opportunity not to be missed.”
