Champions League: Balotelli ignores Brendan Rogers orders to applaud fans after Basel defeat

Mario Balotelli refused to applaud Liverpool fans after he was signaled by manager Brendan Rogers to do so at the end of the game.

Liverpool were beaten by Swiss side FC Basel by a lone goal in their champions league encounter on Wednesday night.

Dailymail UK reports that it is the second time Balotelli has ignored Rodgers order to clap the travelling fans but the Northern Irishman attempted to defuse the situation.
