Nigeria sacks Keshi, appoints Amodu as interim coach

Reports have it that out of contract Stephen Keshi and his assistants have been axed as handlers of the senior national team.
The decision was taken based o the recent performance of the team as reported by Football journalist Colin Udoh

"The decision was among others announced by the NFF Executive Committee after a meeting in Abuja on Wednesday night ‘in the interest of Nigerian football and the desire to ensure qualification for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations finals."

However, the NFF has appointed Amodu Shuaibu, Gbenga Ogunbote, Salisu Yusuf and Alloy Agwu to lead the team for the last two games in the 2015 Afcon qualifier.
