AYC: Nigeria Flying Eagles beat tournament host Senegal

Nigeria U-20 Team aslo known as Flying Eagles defeated Senegal 3-1 in their opening match of the 2015 African Youth Championship.

Taiwo Awoniyi's brace set the Eagles in front in the first 11 minutes of the game, played at the Stade Léopold Sédar Senghor, Dakar on Sunday.

Ifeanyi Matthew grabbed the third goal for the Flying Eagles, before Sidy Sarr pulled one back for the hosts.

The Manu Garba’s tutored side go atop of Group A with three points and will play Congo in their second match on Wednesday, at the Stade Léopold Sédar Senghor.
