Footballers can be busy, but Super Eagles forward Ahmed Musa has made out time for family hanging out with his beautiful wife and kid.

The CSKA Moscow of Russia player is among the final five nominees for Africa Footballer of the Year Award along side fellow Nigeria Vincent Enyeama.

He shared the photo on his instagram account ''what a lovely day''.

Ahmed Musa eyes knock-out stage after CSKA shocked Man City at the Etihad Stadium

CSKA Moscow forward Ahmed Musa believes his side have a chance to qualify for the next round of the UEFA Champions League after beating Manchester City 2-1 in England on Wednesday night.

The Nigerian international who was a handful for City on the night said the victory is a boost for his Russian club which means they could be heading for the knock out stage of the competition, africanfootball.com reports.

The Russian champions host second-placed Roma, who also have four points from as many matches, on November 25 in continuation of the competition.

''We have a very big chance of qualifying after winning on Wednesday. We have to just go back home and work very hard to see if we can win the next home game. With the victory today we have very big confidence,'' africanFootball.com quoted the winger as saying after the match.

''I am not surprised because we saw in Moscow that we could win this game. That is why you saw that we played a very good game.''




Yaya Toure takes to Twitter, tenders apology to Manchester City fans for seeing Red aginst CSKA Moscow

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has apologized to fans of the club for picking up a red card in the 1-2 loss to CSKA Moscow on Tuesday night.

Toure tendered his apology on via his twitter account @YayaToure ''City fans - I am sorry for my red card. I feel it is important to apologise for this''

The 31-year old Ivorian who grabbed the leveler for City was shown the exit while Fernandinho had earlier picked up a second yellow which earned him matching orders.

Frustrating night for City you'll say, they now rock the bottom of the group struggling for a place in the knock-out stage.

Ahmed Musa lone goal decides Moscow Derby

Nigerian forward Ahmed Musa grabbed the winner for CSKA Moscow in 1-0 win over city rivals Locomotiv Moscow Sunday.


Russian champions CSKA Moscow are now second on the league table with 18 points after eight games. Musa's 33rd minute strike was enough to separate both sides and send CSKA fans on rampage.

 “I am so happy and delighted to have scored the goal that gave us victory in the match. It was a derby and it was tough,”  Musa said. 

According to Vanguard, He dedicated the goal to his mother for her support. 

“The goal is for my sweet mother. She has always been there for me. She encouraged me a lot in my choice of career,” he said.

On his present form which has seen him score four goals in his last four games in all competitions, the Jos-born star attributed it to hard work.

“I have no secret other than hard work and dedication to job,” he said.
