Nigeria U-20 Striker Taiwo Awoniyi disowns fake Twitter account

This is interesting! Nigeria U-20 and U-23 Striker, Taiwo Awoniyi has denied ownership of the twitter account @_awoniyi that has been posing as his official account.
He revealed this via hhis facebook and his Instagram account stating that the account was opened by fraudsters who pretend to be him.

''Morning pales,,NOTICE...please there is someone using this Twitter account @_awoniyi for years posting a lot n making people believing is me just want to inform everyone that I have no Twitter account,,is just a fraud pls be aware pals n kindly help in sharing this plsssss'' - Awoniyi on his facebook page.

The image below reveals his post on Instagram.

The said twitter account currently has a total of 1,032 followers at the time of reporting.

Flying Eagles beat Hungary, land in knock out stage

Flying eagles of Nigeria have qualified for the next round of the FIFA U-20 World cup after defeating Hungary in their last group match.

Taiwo Awoniyi's brace was enough for the Eagles to triumphed over their opponent who also made it through to the knockout stage.

Nigeria will face Germany who had convincing run in the group stages with three wins from three matches while Hungary will confront Serbia in the last 16.

African Youth Championship: Four Nigerian players make CAF Starting Eleven

Captain and defender of the the victorious Nigeria U-20 team Musa Muhammed, Midfielder  Idowu Elijah, Goal Keeper Joshua Enaholo and striker Taiwo Awoniyi have been listed among the Team of the the tournament.
The Manu Garba tutored boy defeated host Senegal to win the championship and have also qualified to play at the World Cup in May.

Nigeria Flying Eagles beats Congo 4-1, seal World Cup ticket

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles secured a semi final spot and also booked their place  in the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand with a 4-1 win over Congo in their second Group A match inside the Léopold Sédar Senghor stadium.

Despite being reduced to 10-men, the Manu Garba side grabbed an emphatic victory over the Congolese with Musa Muhammed getting a brace, Ifeanyi Mathew and Taiwo Awoniyi' on the scorers sheet.

Nigeria remain top of their Group with 6 points from two games after beating host Senegalese in the opening game at the weekend.

The team have secured a semi final spot and are certain of a ticket to feature in the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup.
