Yakubu Aiyegbeni joins Reading Football Club #DeadlineDay

Former Super Eagles striker has agreed a short-term deal to join Reading Football club.

The former Everton forward makes a return to England as a free agent from Al Rayya in Qatar.

The Yak as he's fondly called has played for Portsmouth, Leicester City and Blackburn Rovers in the English Premier League in the past.

Extra Time Desperate Transfer Moves: Welbeck joins Arsenal as United seal Falcao deal

Manchester United forward Danny Welbeck has joined Arsenal for an undisclosed fee on a long-term deal. (Believed to be around £15-£16million)
The deal was completed about two hours after the official transfer window deadline which closed 11pm on Monday night.
 
Manchester United website confirmed and wish the player well in his adventure at the Emirates - ''Everybody at Manchester United would like to thank Danny for his service and wish him well for the future.''
 
The 23-year-old England international made a total of 90 appearances, scoring 20 goals for Manchester United. Since making his senior debut in 2008, Welbeck has also won 25 England caps.
 
Meanwhile United also confirmed the signing-on of Colombia and Monaco striker Radamel Falcao on a season long deal with an option to buy at the end of the spell.
 
United will pay a loan fee of £6million, with an option to buy him next summer for a further £46million.
 
''I am delighted to be joining Manchester United on loan this season. Manchester United is the biggest club in the world and is clearly determined to get back to the top,” Falcao told www.manutd.com
 
''I am looking forward to working with Louis van Gaal and contributing to the team’s success at this very exciting period in the club’s history.''
 
Speaking about his new £280,000-a-week man, manager Van Gaal said: ''I am delighted Radamel has joined us on loan this season. He is one of the most prolific goalscorers in the game. His appearance-to-goal ratio speaks for itself and, when a player of this calibre becomes available, it is an opportunity not to be missed.”

Official Transfer: Chicharito joins Real Madrid on loan for 2014/2015 season

 
Mexico and Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has joined Spanish giants Real Madrid on a season loan.
 
According to the club's official statement which reads:
 
''Real Madrid C. F. and Manchester United have reached an agreement for the loan of Javier Chicharito Hernández, who will be at the club throughout this season.
 
Having passed his medicals, he however to put pen to paper for the current UCL Champions.
