Flying Eagles coach Manu Garba has released a 21-man list of players that would represent the country at the forth coming FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Wilfred Ndidi joins Flying Eagles Camp in Germany

Flying Eagles defender Wilfred Ndidi has joined his teammates at their Germany camp (NOVINA HOTEL SUDWESTPARK NURNBERG) on Monday.

The 18-year old is one of the foreign-based expected in the squad ahead of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.

Ndidi plies his trade in Belgium for Genk.

Nigeria Flying Eagles to take on three Bundesliga clubs

In preparation towards the forthcoming FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand, the Flying Eagles of Nigeria would be taking on three German club sides in a friendly game.

The Manu Garba tutored sides are currently camped in Germany where they play the U-23 sides of Hoffenheim on May 12, and three days later face Nurnberg at their training ground in Sudwest Park in Nurnberg.

Freiburg would be the last test for the boys before they depart for New Zealand.

AYC: Flying Eagles to play Ghana in semi final

After finishing tops from Group A, Flying Eagles of Nigeria will now confront their Ghanaian counterparts on Wednesday, for a spot in the final of the 2015 African Youth Championship on-going in Senegal.

The Ghanaian U-20 were edged 1-0 by Mali which saw them finished second from Group B.

In the other semi final on Wednesday, Mali will face hosts Senegal at the Stade Léopold Sédar Senghor, Dakar.

All four teams have already qualified to represent the continent at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand in June.

Coach of Nigeria U-20 Manu Garba releases 21-man list for African Youth Championship

Flying Eagles’ Head Coach Manu Garba (OON) has released a list of 21 players who will represent the country at the 19th African Youth Championship in Senegal.

Nigeria play host Senegal, Congo-Brazzaville and Cote d’Ivoire in Group A of the tournament scheduled for 8th – 22nd March in the Senegalese cities of Dakar and M’Bour.

Ghana, Mali, South Africa and Zambia play in Group B. All four semi finalists will fly Africa’s flag at the FIFA U-20 World Cup finals in New Zealand, scheduled for 30th May – 20th July this year.

Nigeria U-20: Manu Garba names squad for Morocco

Head Coach of the Nigeria U20 team, Manu Garba has named a 20-player squad for the upcoming assignment in Morocco.

The Flying Eagles will play two friendlies against their Moroccan counterparts on Wednesday, April 9, and another game two days later.
Both teams are preparing for 2015 African Youth Championship qualifiers next month.

Nigeria will face the winners of the match between Kenya and Tanzania, while Morocco take on the winners of the clash between Togo and Equatorial Guinea.

The team include:
Goalkeepers: Adamu Abubakar,  Abdulazeez Abubakar, Emeka Nwabulu
Defenders: Aliyu Abubakar, Wilfred Ndidi, Prince Izu Omego, Ifeanyi Nweke, Mustapha Abdullahi, Zaharaddeen Bello
