Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has hailed his fellow team mate Alexis Sanchez for his positioning and attitude which paid off in the later minutes of the match as he scored to help the Gunners see off Southampton by a lone goal on Wednesday.

''He never gives up and he was in the right place at the right time again. It took us until the 88th minute to break them down but we did it in the end,- the Welshman was quoted on the club website.
Unfortunately for the Saints, they were reduced to 10-men after Toby Alderweireld picked up an hamstring injury and could not be replace because the visitors had exhausted their substitution.
On the numerical advantage, Ramsey said, ''We tried to do that anyway. We never go into a game wanting to draw it, we always want to try and win the game. It took until the latter stages of the game but we kept believing and it finally paid off.''
