Capital One Cup Shocker: Newcastle United send City Packing

A resurgent Newcastle United defeated star-studded Manchester City 0-2 at the Etihad Stadium dumping the title holders out of the Capital One Cup. 

From the blast of the whistle, it seemed as though Newcastle were in big trouble but the boys gave ity a run for their money as Roland Aarons scored early enough to send his side ahead on the big day.

Alan Pardew boys showed strength having to deal with several threats from the Manuel Pellegrini men who dominated but could failed to break.

The second half however saw the introduction of Sammy Ameobi who mesmerized the city side and it was another substitute, Moussa Sissoko who sealed the victory to confirm a date in the quarter final with Tottenham Hotspur who defeated Brighton.

Newcastle midfielder Cheik Tiote marries second wife, has another mistress in a corner who has a child for him

Newcastle midfielder Cheik Tiote recently traveled to his homeland to marry a second wife despite having a wife (Mahda) who lives with him with two kids in Ponteland, and another mistress Nkosiphile Mpofu who has a son for him.

Reports say that the 28-year old Ivorian is a devout muslim and he's within the bounds of his religion to have though of taking another wife.

The player's agent confirmed to the Chronicles that he had married Laeticia Doukrou.

Jean Musampa said: “I can say that he did get married and that it is his second marriage.
''This is nothing unusual. He is a muslim.''

The Sun also reported that he had earlier promised to marry his 33-year-old Zimbabwean  mistress who ended her three-year affair with the footballer.

She reportedly told a friend: ''He met my mum and said he's permitted to have several wives. I was comfortable with that. He's used me like a mop. He's just a pig.''
The 28-year old midfielder joined the club in 2010 for a fee of £3.5mand currently earns £45,000.

City begin title defence with a win over Newcastle, Liverpool edge Southampton

Last season winners of the Premier League, Manchester City began their 204/2015 campaign on a good note as they defeated Newscastle at St. James' Park on Sunday.

 Edin Dzeko created a fine chance with a back-heel for David Silva who gave City the lead in the first half. The host tried rallying back as they came all out for a leveler only to concede a double after substitute Sergio Aguero scored.

In the early kick off of the day, Liverpool began their life after Luis Suarez with Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge proving they can take the club to promise land as they both fired in to beat Southampton 2-1.

Shola Ameobi moves from Newcastle to 2nd Division club in Turkey

Nigeria forward Shola Ameobi has joined Gaziantep Buyuksehir Belediyespor, a 2nd Division Turkish side which many tag as an odd move.

The 32-year old Super Eagles forward who was at the World Cup made the move from English premier League side Newcastle after a 10 year spell at the club scoring 79 goals in 397 appearances.

Debuchy completes Arsenal move

Arsenal.com reports that France international Mathieu Debuchy has joined  the London Club on a long-term contract for an undisclosed fee.

The 28-year-old right back has just returned from the World Cup in Brazil, where he helped France reach the quarter-finals.

Debuchy joined from Newcastle United, where he made 46 appearances during an 18-month spell. He spent the first nine years of his senior career with French side Lille, where he made 233 Ligue 1 appearances for his boyhood club and a further 18 in the Uefa Champions League.

He will join up with his new team-mates soon for pre-season preparations and is expected to make his debut at the Emirates Cup in the first weekend of August.
