When the League Management Committee handling the Nigerian Professional Football League received a boost from communication giant Globacom to sponsor the League, we all applauded the move but it's almost mid season and clubs are yet to receive a dime from LMC according to reports.

Nembe City has said that clubs in the league were yet to receive any money from
the League Management Committee (LMC).

Saliu Abubakar, Member of the LMC said that there should not be fear about the
clubs not receiving money yet, but plans were on course to meet with the club
owners soon.
