Onazi! Injury worry for the Super Eagles ahead of Confederations Cup

Super Eagles and Lazio midfielder Ogenyi Onazi is reported to be injured having limped off the field in wednesday's World Cup qualifier 1-1 draw against Namibia.

Onazi was replaced by Academica de Coimbra midfielder, John Ogu in the 71st minute of the game when he could no longer continue after suffering a knock.

According to Supersports, an official of the team revealed that the condition of the 20 year old does not look good but the status of his injury is yet to be disclosed.

Meanwhile, Nigeria are in Group B of the Confederations Cup alongside world champions, Spain, Uruguay and Tahiti. The tournament kicks off on June 15.
