Andy Murray triumphs in Wimbledon, ends Britain's title drought

Andy Murray made history after beating No 1 seed Novak Djokovic in Wimbledon final on Sunday to become the first British man to win the title since Fred Perry last won in 77years ago.

The thrilling three sets victory ended 6-4 7-5 6-4 in favour of the 26 year old Scot

He fell to Roger Federer in the final last year; Murray had shed some baggage by winning the Olympic gold medal on Centre Court, then following that with his first Grand Slam title at the U.S. Open.
