Be of good cheer Schalke, you lost to a ''very good Chelsea team'' - says Mourinho

Chelsea Manager Jose Mourinho has sent out an encouraging message to Schalke after his team bashed the Germans 5-0 in a UCL game on Tuesday night.

The Germans went down five nil at the comfort zone yet Mourinho feels the team should take solace in the fact that they lost to a ''very good Chelsea team''.

''I think we should have scored even more,'' – said the Chelsea manager in a post match interview as quoted by the league body's website.

''Obviously Schalke must be very sad with the result, the only comfort they can take is that they lost against a very good Chelsea team.''

Mourinho further hailed his side for the impressive performance terming the result as abnormal.

''To win 5-0 away in the Champions League is not normal. To win 5-0 in Germany is even more not normal. 

''The performance was complete. It was very impressive.''
