Update on Ocar Pistorius Trial: Court finds him guilty but not guilty
The verdict comes a day after the Blade-runner was cleared of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
On the prosecuting counsel requesting that the accused should not be granted bail, the judge ruled that his bail be extended since she's not persuaded by the State's claim, which means he will be in the custody of his uncle, until october 13 which is the sentencing date.

Pistorius accused of Crocodile tears
Blade runner Oscar Pistorius was accused yesterday of conveniently crying whenever he was under tough questioning over the circumstances in which he killed his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
Gerrie Nel, the prosecutor, suggested Pistorius was trying to “hide”
the real version of how he came to shoot the model through his
locked bathroom door by becoming tearful when inconsistencies
and improbabilities that tarnished his case were pointed out.

Your Turn Oscar: How and why Reeva Steenkamp was murdered
Oscar Pistorius will on Tuesday give his final account of how and why he killed his Model girlfriend.
The South African amputee athlete had on Monday taken to the witness stand to give his own account, where he apologized to the family of the Model. He sobbed as he did that, but according to reports the lady's family didn't show any signs of being touched by his sobbing but rather his own family.
According to Oscar "I want to take this opportunity to apologise to Mr and Mrs Steenkamp. There hasn't been a moment since this tragedy
happened that I haven't thought about your family
"I wake up every morning and you're the first people I think of. The first people I pray for. I can’t imagine the pain and the sorrow and the emptiness that I’ve caused you and your family.
"I was simply trying to protect Reeva. I can promise you that when she went to bed that night she felt loved. I have tried to put my words on paper many times to write to you but no words would ever suffice.' Continue..
He also told the court his struggles since the incident, saying he
wakes up every morning 'smelling blood..and terrified". He
claimed he suffers from panic attacks and takes anti-depressant
medicine.
'I'm scared to sleep. I can smell blood and wake up terrified. I climbed into a cupboard and I phoned my sister to come and sit by me, which she did for a while. I'm just in a complete state of terror. I fall asleep and wake up like that.' He said

At the time this report was being compiled, the first witness, she said she heard scream and a man yelling for help.

Oscar Pistorius mourns girlfriend
The pain and sadness – especially for Reeva’s parents, family and friends consumes me with sorrow.
The loss of Reeva and the complete trauma of that day, I will carry with me for the rest of my life."
He's currently standing trial for the murder of the model which he has constantly denied stating it was an accident.
