Wilshere injured his foot while playing for England

Dont get it twisted, Arsenal is not a boxing club but a London based football club. However, lets say fight in this context actually means Spirit or Zeal. Yes! That is exactly what a midfielder like Jack Wilshere brings to the table when fielded.

The 22-year old England and Arsenal midfielder was in action for the national team against Denmark on Wednesday in a friendly match played at the Wembley stadium, where he injured his left foot in a challenge with Daniel Agger in the 12th minute.

Report from the England F.A and Arsenal is that ''Jack Wilshere has sustained a hairline fracture to the navicular bone in his left foot.''

Consequently, Jackie will be out for 8 weeks and will miss 6 matches beginning from this weekend's game again Everton in FA Cup, important Premier league matches ahead to name a few Tottenham and Chelsea with others to follow.

What this means is that the Arsenal's middle need to step up in their quest to finish the season strong, with the likes of Carzola, Arteta and hopeful returnee from injury Aaron Ramsey taking up the challenge to save the club from falling deeper on the log not leaving out Matthew Flamini in the mix.

Meanhwile, contrary to reports making the rounds that Wenger is furious with Agger for the challenge on Wilshere, the manager told skysports that ''it was an accident and Agger is not to blame''.

''We will have to ensure that he returns on time for the world cup for England'' wenger told reporters.

No doubt, Wilshere is crucial to Arseanl and if Arsenal can cope without the young midfielder is the question that linger while for England, they need him to return as reports indicate that he might be back in April to feature against Hull City.
