Saint-Etienne’s Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
received on Monday evening the Marc-Vivien Foé RFI-France 24 award, which
rewards the African player of the season in the French Ligue 1.
The Saint-Etienne striker who has been elected is the author of a great
performance this season. The former Milan, second behind Younes Belhanda
in the previous edition scored 19 goals this season. He beat
Cameroonian of Marseille, Nicolas Nkoulou and the Burkinabe of Rennes
Jonathan Pitroipa .
He succeeds Montpellier’s Moroccan playmaker Younès
Belhanda, prizewinner in 2012.
