Wolves confirm Mba's 'provisional' release, dropped at the airport

The management of Warri Wolves has decided to provisionally release 2013 Afcon hero, Sunday Mba to Caf Champions League campaigners, Enugu Rangers.

According to Supersport.com,Wolves' management after a lengthy deliberation on Thursday approved the attacking midfielder to feature for the Coal City side in this weekend's reverse Caf Champions League fixture at Clube Recreativo Desportivo (CRD) do Libolo in Angola. The first fixture at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu in April ended goalless.

An official of the side, Moses Etu said the management listened to pleas from well-meaning Nigerians especially the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and wish to state for the avoidance of doubt that Mba remains a player of Warri Wolves and all financial and federating rights remain with Warri Wolves.
Wolves said they approved of Mba so as not to jeopardise his flourishing football career.

Meanwhile, Rangers flew out to Angola for a Champions League tie yesterday without Mba and Ezeh due to passport hassle.
