Most decorated Olympian Michael Phelps apologizes to fan after his arrest for Driving Under the Influence

Most decorated Olympian Michael Phelps apologized to his fans via his Twitter account on Tuesday afternoon after he was charged for driving under the influence earlier in the morning same day.
The 28-year old US Swimmer was caught driving 84 mph in a tunnel with a 45mph speed limit, Maryland police said. He allegedly crossed double lines in the tunnel, and failed multiple sobriety tests.

According to BBC, Mr Phelps was co-operative but failed a series of standard field sobriety tests, traffic police said in a statement. He was charged and released.
