Nigeria's World Cup Jersey: Questions that must be answered

Following the launch of Nigeria's national team Jersey to be used in the world cup, House of Representatives Committee on Sports have criticized the colour stating that it is not the traditional colour of the country.

 According to reports, the Chairman of the Committee Godfrey Ali Gaiya expressed his dissatisfaction with the new jersey faulting it's colour and called upon the manufacturers to explain their reasons for selecting the shade of green.

Rumours have it that the shade of green could have been influenced by one of the major sponsors of the national team, Globacom.
