Yaya Toure Leads Ivory Coast to Nations Cup Final

African Footballer of the Year, Yaya Toure was among the scorers as the Elephants of Cote d'voire defeated DR Congo to land in the final of the on-going Africa Cup of nations.

Captain Yaya Toure put the Elephants in front, with a long-range strike, but Dieumerci Mbokani leveled from the spot after Eric Bailly was adjudged to have handled in the area.
Gervinho restored the lead while Wilfried Konan grabbed the third goal to seal the victory.

The Ivorian now have a chance of lifting the Africa cup of nations since 1992 but will have to battle the winner of the second semi final game to be played on Thursday evening between Ghana and host Equatorial Guinea.
