Chelsea had earlier gone ahead through Branislav Ivanovic in the first half but Anichebe headed home in the 87th minute after much pressure to open up the title race once again for Arsenal.
It could also be recalled that Anichebe got the equalizer that ensured the Baggies shared spoils against Liverpool about a week ago in an EPL clash.
