Renowned Sports editor of The Nation Newspaper, Ade Ojeikere
has recommended Kayode Olanrewaju as a material for the Nigeria senior national team.
He made this statement on a sport show on Silverbird
Television (Nigerian). Ade said ‘‘Kayode is clearly a material for the super
eagles, we don’t have to wait because he has proven his worth.’’
He called on the who is who to consider promoting the young center forward now that he's in top shape.
‘‘Let us emulate Brazil like they did with the likes us Oscar et all’’
He also scored the lone goal against Korea that saw Nigeria
through to the knock out stage of the tournament.
