Moyes insists Rooney is staying at United. Is that Wayne speaking?

New Manchester United boss, David Moyes addressed the press for the first time today during his unveiling at the club and he made a profound statement on the future of striker Wayne Rooney.  amidst the speculations.

The former Everton manager said Rooney is not for sale and that suitors should stay clear off the player although he refused to confirm if the player himself stated this categorically.

Wayne Rooney is not for sale. He's a Manchester United player and will remain a Manchester United player."

Arsenal, Barcelona, PSG, Chelsea and a host of other clubs are waiting on the flanks to see how events turns out with United.

Wouldn't it be nice to hear Wayne Rooney make a declaration himself despite the claims by his boss who hopes to have a perfect working condition with him?

The season will commence in about a month or there about, time shall tell.
