Marion Bartoli has won her first Wimbledon title after beating favourite Sabine Lisicki in the women's singles final 6-1, 6-4. She powered Lisicki who didn't live up to the billing to win the much coveted title.
The 28-year old French woman, Bartoli, made her 47th appearance in the grand slam, the most of any first time champion (woman).
Dream come true.
