Algeria football team treated to heroic welcome as players donate earnings to victims in Gaza

Despite losing to Germany in the Round of 16, the Algerian national team were treated to a heroic welcome on returning from Brazil.
The players were taken round the streets of Algiers to celebrate the feat of reaching the knock out stage for the first time in the FIFA world Cup.
Meanwhile,  some great news from the camp of the Desert Foxes revealed that they have donated their World Cup prize money ( around $9 Million) to the people in Gaza.
"They need it more than us, said striker Slimani.
Greece is another team that decided to donate their cut for the youth football camp in Greece.
