Nigeria Falconets defeated England 2-1 at the on-going FIFA
U-20 Women’s World Cup in Canada to qualify for quarter-final of the tournament.
The match which was played in the early hours of Thursday, saw the Falconets rally back through Loveth Ayila and Asisat Oshoala scored, after conceding an early goal.
It took England just five minutes of play to go ahead in the game as Nikita
Parris scored to give England the lead but Ayila levelled
the scored four minutes before half time as she fired in from about 25-yards.

minutes into the second half, Oshoala was brought down in the area and
the referee pointed to the spot without hesitation. She stepped up and
coolly slotted the ball into the bottom corner.
Nigeria now confronts Group D runner-up, New zealand as the Falcons feature in their fifth consecutive quarter-final.
