Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger, has insisted that he does not regret turning down the chance to re-sign former skipper Cesc Fabregas.
Fabregas joined Chelsea this summer, after Wenger refused to activate the buy-back clause the Gunners inserted in the deal that saw him return to Barcelona in 2011.
The Spaniard has been impressive since joining the Blues and was involved in all three goals for Jose Mourinho’s team, as they began their Premier League season, with a 3-1 win away to Burnley.
''I have no regrets that Fabregas joined Chelsea,''Wenger told reporters.
''My only regret is that he left us in the first place.''
Wenger refused to be drawn into comparisons between Fabregas and Aaron Ramsey stating that they both play differently.
